Duclo → OnCloud / Hanwha Vision

Making cloud video easier to act on.

We helped shape Duclo’s brand and product experience, now OnCloud within Hanwha Vision. The work connects live monitoring, event investigation, and useful evidence in a cloud video platform.

The camera grid gives operators a shared view of the places they monitor.
01 / The challenge

Seeing an event is only the beginning.

  • Multiple cameras and locations
  • Time-based investigation
  • Evidence and sharing workflows

Security operators need to move from monitoring a location to understanding an event, then preserve the evidence they need. That journey can become fragmented across camera views, timelines, and clip tools.

We designed the experience around those transitions. Live views establish context; event history helps investigate; bookmarks and clips make the relevant moment available beyond the immediate session.

02 / Design decisions

Inside the experience.

The choices that connect the product to the people using it.

01 / Monitor

Make the live view a useful starting point.

Operators need to keep several camera feeds in view without losing the context of a particular location.

We organized monitoring around flexible camera views, with focused controls available when an operator needs to inspect a feed more closely.

Focused camera controls support a closer look without leaving the monitoring workflow.
  1. The camera remains the visual anchor.
  2. Inspection controls are available in context.

What this makes possibleA clear transition from a broad view to a specific place or camera.

02 / Investigate

Connect events to the relevant footage.

An event needs temporal context: what happened, where it happened, and which footage explains it.

Event history pairs the activity record with time-based navigation. Filters and date selection help the operator narrow the investigation.

Event history provides a route into the footage behind the activity.
  1. Activity is organized for scanning.
  2. Time and camera context support investigation.

What this makes possibleAn explicit path from a reported event to the relevant video.

03 / Preserve

Make the important moment reusable.

Finding a moment is useful only if the operator can return to it or share it with the right people.

Bookmarks and clip creation make preservation part of the investigation workflow, keeping the selected footage and its context together.

Clip creation turns an investigated moment into something the team can keep and use.
  1. The selected interval has a clear context.
  2. Preservation is connected to the investigation.

What this makes possibleA complete journey from monitoring to a useful piece of evidence.

03 / The result

A clearer product foundation.

The work brings product strategy, identity, and interaction design together around the tasks of cloud video operators.
